Buffalo Wild Wings
March Madness 2024
When March Madness comes around it seems like everyone has a bracket. But not everyone is a real buffalo making real tourney picks LIVE on TikTok during a 2-hour live broadcast and giving away a buffalo-ton of wings in the process. It is the hardest possible way to pull off the dumbest possible thing and completely eradicate our benchmarks in the process.
Anomaly created this bizarre March Madness Challenge with creative studio, Loop, for a first-of-its-kind interactive live stream with a 1.5-ton real-life buffalo named Jack AND gave away free wings for a year live on TikTok. Together, Anomaly and Loop, concepted and produced a groundbreaking interactive livestream where viewers collaborated to create a March Madness bracket in real-time alongside Jack, a real-life buffalo. Viewers commented on their picks to create a community bracket that went up against Jack’s while our host gave away gift cards, free wings for a year, and court-side seats to next year’s Final Four.
The live broadcast was streamed simultaneously on Buffalo Wild Wing’s social channels and in restaurants nationwide.

TikTok Livestream of Bracket Creation
Once the teams were selected, we launched the live stream for all to tune in and watch Jack work with our comedian Ify to make his selections.
Behind the scenes
We filmed Jack for about 8 hours, trained him to make a selection when mentioning the team round. This was my first time running a content shoot with a buffalo.
Earnie Johnson analyzed Jack's bracket.
After his selections, why not get a pro to see if Jack was on to something?
